Accessibility Statement

At the DMA, we believe that everyone should have access to art education, regardless of age, learning style, or ability. Our commitment to accessibility means that we strive to accommodate the needs of participants in all DMA educational experiences, regardless of their interests. ​

To request an accessibility accommodation such as ASL interpretation, gallery chairs, or wheelchairs, please email access@dma.org.

Access Programs and Resources for All

We offer specific programs and accessibility accommodations for guests on the autism spectrum, guests who are blind or partially sighted, visitors with Color Vision Deficiency (CVD), guests with dementia or memory loss, guests with Parkinson’s Disease, guests with hearing loss, guests with limited mobility, and Care Centers and groups with various needs. Additional Accessibility Information

All of the Museum’s public galleries are accessible to wheelchair and mobility device users and other visitors who cannot use stairs.

Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

All Museum entrances and restrooms are ADA compatible.

We recommend dropping off and picking up visitors with disabilities at the Main Entrance (north side of the Museum). In addition, accessible parking spaces are located on Levels P1, P2, and P3 of the Museum’s parking garage

Companion service dogs are allowed in the Museum.
